Third Thursdays with Phoenix orchestra at the Gardner Museum

  • Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum 25 Evans Way Boston, MA, 02115 United States (map)

Third Thursdays “RE-SPIN”:

Weave together a night inspired by textile patterns. Stitch a pixelated art project in the Studio, then head to the galleries to watch Harvard Dance Center perform site-specific vignettes and experience live installations by the orchestra, Phoenix.

Phoenix Orchestra // Calderwood Hall
Phoenix Orchestra, Improper Bostonian's 2017 Classical Ensemble of the Year, performs Robert Honstein's Juno in the Gardner's iconic Calderwood Hall. The piece weaves together six musicians to recall the composer's life in Boston during the legendary Winter of 2015. Before and after the performance, Phoenix musicians will discuss the piece and answer questions from the audience.
