With butterflies, candy corn, and some fairy dust in my stomach, I’m super excited to share the news that I’ve recently joined the L’Eveque string trio with my two lifelong friends and colleagues, Carol Ou and Amy Galluzzo (who will graciously play both violin and viola)! ⁣

Trio L’Eveque is a virtuoso string ensemble founded by three close friends in 2022. Cellist Carol Ou, violinist Jean Huang, and violinist/violist Amy Galluzzo, all of whom have performed for Music for Peace, met in the studio of legendary violinist and teacher James Buswell, whose inimitable ideas and sounds from his L’Eveque Strad continue to live in the minds of generations of musicians.

The trio performs all combinations of music for violin, viola, and cello from the last five centuries. In concert, the group creates tangible connections for audiences with composers and performers through creative programming, insightful commentary, and exuberant performances.
